OUR MISSION
The Dodrill Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to closing the gap between conventional oncology and advanced, biologically informed approaches. We fund access to innovative testing, provide data-driven insights for patients and families, and support adjunctive therapies when standard protocols fall short.
ACCESS TO ADVANCED TESTING
We help patients gain access to advanced diagnostics such as genomic sequencing, immune panels, and circulating tumor cell assays by offering financial support and educational guidance about what these tests are and how they can inform discussions with their oncology team.
PATIENT ADVOCACY & DATA REVIEW
We create clear, accessible explanations of medical information so patients can better understand their results and prepare informed questions for their doctors. Our role is to empower patients in conversations with their healthcare providers.
SUPPORTIVE CARE NAVIGATION
We provide information and resources on evidence-supported adjunctive therapies, including our portable infrared sauna and red light therapy pod, high-dose vitamin C, hyperbaric oxygen, and repurposed drugs so patients know what may be available to discuss with their medical team or to explore through licensed providers.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Modern oncology is built to treat populations. Protocols emerge from large clinical trials, are optimized for averages, and constrained by reimbursement models. This structure can save lives, but leaves the individual behind. Cancer is never the same disease twice, yet biology, environment, and circumstances are too often treated as interchangeable. What gets lost is the person. Advanced diagnostics that reveal molecular drivers may never be offered. Clear explanations of a diagnosis or lab values are often absent. Practical guidance on nutrition, supplements, or supportive therapies that could strengthen a patient during treatment is rarely provided. With only fragments of the information required, critical decisions are made under conditions of uncertainty. The Dodrill Foundation was created to change that. We order advanced testing, assist financially in some cases, and provide education to make complex results understandable. We walk through diagnoses in detail, explain what the data shows, and introduce supportive strategies to discuss with oncology teams. We bring services like phlebotomy, infusions, our mobile medical grade infrared sauna, and red light panels to patient's homes so they can spend more time with their families, or if they are unable to leave. Our work is deliberate, personal, and deeply engaged with the individual behind the disease. Patients deserve more than population-level medicine. Each person deserves care that recognizes unique biology, delivers clear knowledge, and restores a measure of control during an uncertain time. This is the shift from passively moving through treatment to actively shaping the path of care.
EXPANDING CARE BEYOND THE CLINICAL SETTING
MOBILE INFRARED SAUNA & RED LIGHT THERAPY
We bring a medical-grade Sunlighten infrared sauna equipped and red light panels directly to patient's homes. Whether through full-spectrum infrared therapy or targeted red light sessions, patients can access restorative care that supports detoxification, circulation, immune health, and cellular repair in the comfort of their own space.
MOBILE INFUSIONS & AT-HOME LABS
Through trusted partners, we connect patients with mobile infusion services, including high-dose vitamin C IVs, and mobile phlebotomy for lab draws. Patients receive advanced care without leaving home.
COMPASSION COMMITTEE
Led by kids, our Compassion Committee embodies the heart of service. Children create hand-made cards, plan play dates for siblings in families affected by cancer, and dream up meaningful ways to bring comfort and joy during difficult seasons. This program not only lifts the spirits of patients and families but also nurtures the next generation of leaders by teaching them empathy, creativity, and the joy of serving others. We believe these small acts of compassion help make the kingdom of heaven visible here on earth and act as reminders that no one walks through suffering alone.

FINDING HOPE WITH THE DODRILL FOUNDATION
HOW PERSONALIZED CARE, EDUCATION, AND SUPPORT CHANGED MY CANCER JOURNEY
My name is Jenelle Ahmad, and I am a stage IV metastatic breast cancer patient. When I received my second cancer diagnosis, I felt overwhelmed, confused and unsure of where to turn. All I knew was what my oncologist told me, but I didn’t know what other options existed, or how to make sense of the complex medical information being handed to me. That’s when Emily stepped into my life, and everything began to change. This is the time I lovingly gave her the nickname, my “Cancer Ninja”. Being under Emily’s care has been unlike anything I could have imagined. She didn’t just tell me what to do, she educated me every step of the way.
With her help, I received high-dose vitamin C infusions, located hyperbaric oxygen therapy, underwent advanced genetic testing, and most importantly, understood what those results meant for me. She guided me through supplements, explaining why each one mattered, and opened the door to alternative and complementary therapies like a medical grade sauna, and safe detoxing after scans or radiation. Emily also gave me tools for fasting, nutrition, and lifestyle practices that empowered me to take control of my health. Beyond the science and protocols, she offered grace when I worried I was bothering her with too many questions, and encouragement when I felt like giving up. Her compassion has been just as life-saving as her knowledge.
This guidance made all the difference. Before, I had no idea how to navigate my cancer journey beyond traditional oncology. I couldn’t understand cancer pathway maps or what my genetic mutations meant, and I felt powerless. Emily helped me make sense of it all and, most importantly, she had contingency plans in place so I was never standing still or knowing what my next move would be. She has been a guiding light in the darkest of times, helping me remain in the fight when I thought I had nothing left.
What Emily provided me is something every cancer patient deserves, but the reality is that most people can’t access this level of care and support because of cost. The truth is, without her, I would have missed critical therapies, supplements, and approaches that have given me more strength, time, and clarity in my journey. Every patient’s path is unique, but the clarity, compassion, and education Emily provides should not depend on income. Her work gave me hope and direction when I needed it most. I believe The Dodrill Foundation will give countless others that same chance.
